valentine's/singapore
The V-day:
Wonders of life do happen once in a while.. Just like any other day, well maybe not just any day, it was valentine's day, and there we were, walking towards the ticket counter to buy our movie ticket but was stopped by an unknown stranger. He was holding 2 movie tickets and i thought he wanted to sell em to us for a cheaper price.
Normally i would shoo anyone i thought was a salesman away without listening but i'm glad i did not do it this time. We must have met some good samaritan or something coz he said he bought extra tickets and shoved the tickets into nana's hand. He then wished us happy valentine's day and scurried off. We were like what just happened?!!
I keep checking and checking the ticket to us whether it has expired or something and it was a early april fool's joke he was playing on us. But the date and time was for the particular day and it was the best seat ever! (couple seating+last row) We went to watch the movie anyway and i still couldn't believe we got free tickets even after i came out of the cinema. LOL. It was the most unreal/weird valentines day i've ever had. =p

The day of L.O.V.E
While my baby handphone was charging...

My doorbell rings repeatedly in rapid succession.
I get quite annoyed when ppl do that.
I don't like to heard dingdong!dingdong! dingdong!dingdong!
I prefer just dingdong! Get it? It's not like I’m deaf or something.
That plus the fact that I was already in a comfortable position and I was still in my previously mentioned embarrassing pajamas.
I thought it was some salesman or something and I was going to go out and growl at him for interrupting my tv session.
But what’s this? I see him holding a bouquet of roses.
Delivery man: Are you Miss Jessica?
Jess : Err, yeah?
Delivery man: Please sign here.
Jess: For me?? * rubs eyes*
(mum comes out)
Mum: Woooooo.. Did dad send those for me? *blushes*
Jess: Err, no. It’s for me actually. Lol.
Mum: Where’s mine? I’m gonna call dad.
Hahahahahaha. Don’t u just love my mum?
I still get warm mushy feelings when i think about it.
I always say that men are idiots but in light of recent events I take it back, for the time being. LOL. They came all the way to deliver me flowers so I forgive them for abusing my doorbell. :3
I feel this great shining love for nana at this moment.
